Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to serve as a bridge between their technical experts and operational teams. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the critical documentation that keeps our facility safe, compliant, and efficient.

This isn't just a desk job, you will work closely with engineers and EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) specialists to translate complex chemical processes into clear, actionable procedures that ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Important Notes:
This position is 100% on-site to ensure direct access to our process equipment and Subject Matter Experts. Please ensure you are comfortable with an on-site manufacturing environment before applying.

This is a long-term contract opportunity to be a key contributor to a safety-critical operation. You will gain deep exposure to complex chemical manufacturing processes and play a vital role in the continuous improvement of our facility's standards.

Core Responsibilities:
• Documentation Development: Author and maintain high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety manuals, and compliance reports.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineers, process specialists, and the EHS team to gather technical information and validate the accuracy of procedures.
• Information Synthesis: Translate intricate chemical and engineering concepts into concise, compliant documentation for a variety of audiences.
• Document Control: Manage a controlled electronic library, ensuring strict version control and historical accuracy of all technical documents.
• Continuous Updates: Proactively update documentation to reflect changes in equipment, chemical processes, or shifting regulatory requirements.
• Training Support: Assist in the creation of visual aids and training materials to support the safe rollout of new operational procedures.

Required Experience & Qualifications:
• Industry Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of technical writing experience specifically within a chemical or manufacturing environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with chemical process documentation, industrial safety standards, and regulatory compliance protocols.
• Systems Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and hands-on experience with Document Control Systems/Software.
• Communication: Exceptional writing and editing skills with a "safety-first" mindset.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-output industrial setting.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
