Title- Billing & Accounts Receivable Analyst
Location- Amherst, NY 14228
Duration- 6 month contract
Qualifications:
• An Associates degree in Finance, Accounting or 3+ years equivalent work experience required.
• Effective and concise written & oral communication skills
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SumIf, Pivot Tables, etc.) is required, experience with MS Office Suite preferred (Word, PowerBI, PowerPoint)
• SAP experience a plus, but not required
• Construction industry experience a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
Company: Job Purpose
The Billing and Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for the daily assurance of accounts receivable collections which include daily follow-up on & resolution of unpaid invoices & short-payments by customers.
The employee assumes various AR-related clerical tasks and provides support to the Sr. Credit Analyst as assigned.
Job Description
• Executes collection & reconciliation processes for a set portfolio of customers
• Engages with our internal sales and customer service teams to resolve customer disputes & discrepancies
• Ensures timely collection of overdue receivables, works with cash application group to ensure accuracy of customer postings.
• Responsible for maintaining clear, concise notations regarding collections activity, customer communication & account status within our AR systems & ERP.
• Completes all required monthly reporting accurately and within the allotted schedule.

This is a True Temp position.- 6 months - Hybrid schedule after the first month Degree preferred - Must have 3 year experience w/o degree. Experience with Microsoft office- Strong Excel knowledge preferred Strong communication skills are a MUST- M-F 8-5
