Clinical Laboratory:

The Lab Technician is skilled at working with complex systems or perform highly technical mechanical or diagnostic tests in medical or scientific laboratories. The Lab Technician produces research experimental results, or information/data management results assembling and configuring of small/pilot scale equipment and control systems utilizing a variety of techniques.

  • May collect samples and performs tests on body fluids, chemical compounds, biological specimens
  • Skilled on various types of machinery, lab equipment and complex computer programs
  • Possess strong attention to details to record findings
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of chemicals and/or supplies necessary for the completion of experiments

Clinical Trial Manager

The Clinical Trial Manager is responsible for managing the clinical trial process by implementing effective strategies for their organization. They are accountable for leading teams, which are responsible for the execution and delivery of quality studies, instituting quality checks and balances to ensure inspection readiness, enrollment, metrics, milestones, timelines and budgets.

  • Design, develop, and execute protocols for clinical trials that fit with existing regulations and standards.
  • Manage budget and schedule during clinical trials.
  • Write study documents, reports, and summaries of adverse events, progress, and employees.
  • Develop and implement enrollment strategies, monitoring to adjust for dropouts.
  • Monitor and track progress and obstacles during clinical trial, responding to day-to-day problems.
  • Responsible accurate and timely entry of study information into appropriate regulatory systems.

Clinical Trials Research

A research scientist is a scientist who works primarily with gathering knowledge and understanding research. Duties generally include performing experiments, making observations, and creating detailed papers detailing findings for peer review and publishing.

  • Conduct research in a particular field of knowledge, and publish findings in professional journals, books and/or other electronic media
  • Write grant proposals to procure external research funding
  • Experience in GMP and GLP environment can be highly desirable
  • Sterile technique and cell culture preferred

Process Engineering and Quality Assurance/Control

The QA Inspector – Science performs sampling and inspection of all incoming chemical, components, and closures used in the manufacturing process in accordance to documented and approved procedures, materials specifications and aligned with the quality assurance program. The QA Inspector – Science gives regular feedback to the general/plant manager, who uses this feedback to adjust and regulate the process for maximum efficiency, safety, and quality of the finished products.

  • Records data clearly and precisely using appropriate management systems and maintains inspection records
  • Assists in the release of final products
  • Preparation, daily maintenance, and use of next-generation sequencing instruments and equipment
  • Maintain protocols and final report files, reserve samples, product complaints and batch records.

Chemical

The Chemical Engineer apply their knowledge of various chemical properties to develop new chemical substances or improve existing ones. They may also serve as trouble shooters by helping to examine and improve industrial processes using the application of better chemical systems. The Chemical Engineer also works to help reduce waste and inefficiency.

  • Use of equipment such as pH meter, centrifuge, analytical balance, spectrophotometer, vacuum chamber, tangential flow filtration system, membrane printing system, conjugate dispensing system.
  • Develops safety procedures for those working close to possible chemical reactions
  • Conduct complex experimentation including data collection, summary and thorough analysis, in support of product improvement and validation projects
  • Support efforts to innovate production methods and product formulation to resolve problems and accomplish company objectives

Biotechnology

The Microbiologist studies the biology of microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa and algae. The Microbiologist is responsible for performing routine microbiology testing and assisting the team with projects and performing lab assistant work. The Microbiologist generally supervises biological technicians and other laboratory workers, as well as staying up to date on research and developments within their field.

  • Conducts research projects, prepares samples for testing, recording findings accurately, and writing reports and research papers on findings.
  • Prepare media, reagents, and chemicals for microbiological testing
  • Perform assays and determinations of organisms and substrates for identification and to determine interactions
  • Records and maintains accurate test results and enters them into computer database

Consumer Products

A consumer product scientist will apply their knowledge of particular sciences and apply them to a variety of different industries for example consumer goods, food, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing. The responsibilities that they have comprise of developing new foods, drugs as well as researching and developing ways to enhance existing products. They will also conduct thorough research on products and consumers, and is mostly conducted in labs and factories.

Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer designs, develops, builds, and tests mechanical and thermal sensors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines. Civil Engineers comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

Electrical Engineer

An Electrical Engineer designs and develops new electrical equipment, solves problems and tests equipment. They work with all kinds of electronic devices, from the smallest pocket devices to large supercomputers. Electrical engineering positions deal with electricity, electro-magnetism and electronics. Electrical Engineers have to focus on the generation of power to the device or product.

Engineers are involved in the selection of drilling sites based upon the cost, effort and feasibility of retrieving the product. They will test the drilling samples and decide on the safest method of retrieval of the oil or gas.

Survey Technicians help map out areas of land for construction or other purposes. Technicians must be able to understand and interpret site plans, including profiles and cross-sections. Survey Technicians record information, conduct surveys perform calculations, determine controls and set grids.

  • Assist and receive training in conducting land and building surveys, including equipment use.
  • Use, create, and interpret GPS and CAD information.
  • Record and enter survey data into databases, reports and diagrams
  • Perform calculations to determine earth curvature corrections, atmospheric impacts on measurements, traverse closures and adjustments, azimuths, level runs, and placement of markers.
  • Operate and manage land-information computer systems, performing task such as storing data, making inquiries, and producing plots and reports.

Payroll Manager
