Position: Assembler
Location: Poway, CA
Pay: Flexible (based on experience)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
We’re seeking an experienced Assembler for a 6-month contract to support electrical and mechanical assembly operations. The role involves building, modifying, and repairing wiring systems, harnesses, and electronic subassemblies per blueprints and IPC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble and rework electrical cables, harnesses, and subassemblies.
* Perform soldering, crimping, and labeling per IPC610/620 Class 3 standards.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, wire lists, and BOMs.
* Use tools such as crimpers, soldering irons, multimeters, and calipers.
* Maintain quality, safety, and 5S standards.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of related experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Skilled in cable/wire harness assembly and soldering.
* Familiar with IPC610/620 standards.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
