GREAT opportunity for a full time Assistant Project Manager w/Wastewater experience.
This position is 100% on-site in Spokane County and pays up to $105k/year depending on experience.
Qualifications
• Possession of a Group IV state-level wastewater operator certificate, or the ability to obtain one within 1 year.
• 5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of advanced wastewater treatment facilities, with a track record of career growth.
• Strong understanding of technical aspects of wastewater treatment, including but not limited to advanced chemical treatment, biological nutrient removal, membrane separation, and anaerobic digestion.
• Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relations and personnel management.
• Proficient use of computer software for process control, data management, maintenance management, and standard office applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email).
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

• Address complex operational challenges within a highly sophisticated treatment environment.
• Guide and inspire a dedicated Operations team, fostering a collaborative and engaging work atmosphere. Contribute to the professional development of team members.
• Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and optimization within the facility's processes.
• Analyze and refine operational process control and maintenance procedures to ensure full compliance with environmental permits.
• Contribute to the planning, organization, and direction of the operation, maintenance, modification, and improvement of a major regional water reclamation facility.
• Maintain meticulous operational records and prepare reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with colleagues, management, and external partners.
• Support the electronic submission of environmental compliance reports to regulatory authorities.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with employees, clients, consultants, and the public.
