Pay Range: $56 - $65/hr DOE

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming our manual testing efforts into efficient and effective automated processes. You'll be involved in the full testing lifecycle, from understanding requirements to executing automated tests and contributing to production deployments.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Translating existing manual test cases and scripts into automated test scripts.
• Assisting with the setup and ongoing maintenance of test environments.
• Proactively identifying technical and operational problems within our systems.
• Developing configurable, maintainable, reusable, and dependable test automation tools and frameworks.
• Actively participating in testing activities for production deployments and remediation efforts.
• Developing clear and concise test case automation criteria.
• Collaborating effectively as a technical team member across multiple programs and systems.
• Contributing to projects of moderate to high complexity within various development environments and enterprise-wide systems.

Required Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 3+ years of information technology work experience, coupled with 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation coding and software testing.
• Solid understanding of various software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, and Behavior-driven development.
• Proven working knowledge of test case management and execution utilizing industry-standard test management tools.

You will stand out if you have:
• Software testing assurance certification from an accredited institution (e.g., ASQ, QAI, ISTQB).
