The Position
Our client is looking for a well-established Civil Designer. Setup and production of construction plans for the City of Houston, Harris County, and the surrounding communities, from start to finish, for the design of roadways; water lines; gravity sanitary sewer and force mains; lift stations; storm sewers; detention basins; water tanks; flood control projects; site projects; hike and bike trails; traffic control and phasing plans; grading; etc.

Job Requirements
* 5 to 10+ years of actual design experience or demonstration of equivalent abilities
* Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D (knowledge of Pipe Networks, Corridors, Creation of Plan & Profiles, etc.) Be comfortable performing in a deadline-oriented environment
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PDFs, and the ability to transfer information to and from CAD
* Ability to perform quality work, at a quick pace, with ample attention to detail, with or without detailed instruction
* Ability to work independently and with others on design projects to support Engineering and Management
