We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Austin. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for remote work with occasional in-office days. As a Database Administrator, you will provide critical application support, ensuring the smooth operation of agency services through data analysis, processing, and corrections. You will also have the opportunity to develop new solutions and create support documentation for both new and existing software.

Responsibilities:
- Provide application support, including analysis of application functions and data processing.
- Resolve data corrections to ensure agency services maintain functionality.
- Edit and correct existing applications as needed.
- Develop new solutions to address arising situations.
- Create support documentation to define new and existing software.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless application performance.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
- 8 years of DB2 Database Experience.
- 3 years of AIX/Unix/Linux Platform Experience.
- 3 years of Shell Programming/Scripting Experience.
- 5 years of DB2 Z/OS.
- Strong analytical skills to assess application functions and data processing.
- Proficiency in editing and correcting applications.
- Ability to develop new solutions to address technical issues.
- Excellent documentation skills to create clear and concise support materials.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Must be able to work 40-50 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement with one day a month in the office.
