In this role as a Die Corrector, you’ll inspect and fix the dies used in the production process to ensure they meet quality standards. You'll troubleshoot and resolve any issues, make necessary adjustments, and ensure the dies produce parts that meet the required specifications. You'll also provide technical support to the production team and keep detailed records of your work to help maintain efficiency and quality.
Your Responsibilities... In this position, you will:
• Recommend and design new die designs.
• Inspect, maintain, and correct dies to ensure they meet production specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot die-related issues, including wear, damage, or design flaws.
• Perform die repairs, adjustments, and modifications to optimize performance and longevity.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests on dies to ensure they produce parts that meet required specifications and tolerances.
• Provide technical support to production teams regarding die setup, usage, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain detailed records of die inspections, corrections, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all tools and equipment used for die correction and maintenance are in good working condition.
Our Ideal Die Corrector has...
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training training in tool and die making preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in die correction, tool and die making, or a related field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong demonstration of knowledge of die correction techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Proficient in AUTOCAD or 3d Modeling software.
• Mill operation experience
