Key Responsibilities
• Set up, perform, and analyze experiments and tests per established procedures; accurately record results.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electronics systems and equipment down to the PWA/component level.
• Interpret and work from schematics, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and technical publications.
• Operate and maintain test equipment including DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and similar tools.
• Repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuits with precision.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to other technicians.
• Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols, especially when working with high-voltage, high-pressure, high-energy, cryogenic, or other hazardous systems.

Qualifications
• Associate’s degree or equivalent plus 2+ years of related experience; 3+ years of direct experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Military or technical school training in test/experimental operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals: Ohm’s Law, op-amp circuits, AC/DC conversion.
• Proficient with RF systems, communications, and RF components (amplifiers, filters, oscillators, mixers); skilled in diagnosing RF issues.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, digital multimeters, function generators, LabVIEW, and programming tools (ICD 2/3/4, CPLD, J-Link).
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability to changing priorities, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
