We're looking for a motivated and experienced Employee Benefits & Total Rewards Specialist to join our client’s Human Resources team. This position is central to designing, administering, and maintaining our benefits, compensation, and employee recognition programs. If you have a passion for creating competitive and engaging total rewards packages and are skilled in HR reporting and compliance, this role is for you.
You will play a key role in ensuring our client’s offerings are cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with their company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be a strong partner who can use data to drive decisions and improve their overall HR programs.
Responsibilities
Benefits Strategy & Administration: Partner with HR leadership to develop and refine their benefits strategy. You will manage the full benefits administration process, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans, and lead our annual open enrollment.
Compensation & Recognition: Assist with the administration of salary structures and incentive programs. You will conduct market analysis to ensure competitive pay practices and manage programs that recognize and reward their team.
HR Reporting & Audits: Conduct regular audits of HR data to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will prepare and distribute key HR reports, leveraging HR technology to provide data-driven insights.
Compliance & Communication: Ensure all programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (FLSA, ACA, ERISA). You will also design and deliver employee communications to increase understanding of our total rewards offerings.
Qualifications
• 5-7 years of experience in compensation, benefits, HR reporting, or similar total rewards roles.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or you have equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and benefits administration platforms.
• The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Certifications such as Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) are a plus.
