We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Systems Testing Lead to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Talent applications and systems. You will be instrumental in the full testing lifecycle, from planning and execution to defect management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Location: Edgewood Cliffs, NJ (hybrid)
Pay: up to $60/hr
Duration: 6 months contract with the potential for conversion!
Here’s some examples of what you’ll be doing:
Drive Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and efficient test scripts for our critical Talent applications and systems.
Execute with Precision: Conduct thorough test execution, meticulously identify defects, and accurately report bugs using industry-standard tools such as ALM or JIRA.
Ensure Seamless Integrations: Support rigorous testing for system integrations, particularly with our HRIS (SAP).
Champion Defect Resolution: Diligently document and track identified defects, collaborate effectively with development teams to facilitate timely resolutions, and rigorously verify implemented fixes.
Foster Collaboration: Work closely and proactively with the tool vendor and project management teams to ensure all testing activities align seamlessly with project goals, timelines, and requirements.
Manage Test Data Effectively: Facilitate the creation of relevant and realistic test data, and implement processes for efficient test data management, including generation and validation.
Maintain Document Integrity: Ensure all essential documentation, including SOPs, Configuration Workbooks, and User Guides, are consistently updated, securely stored, and readily accessible.
Required Background/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with HR Cloud Software solutions (such as SAP, SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Workday, Cornerstone, ADP, etc.) at a user or system administrator level.
• Demonstrable experience in software testing, ideally within an HR or Talent systems environment and lifecycle.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Solid understanding of testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
• Proven ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize workload, and manage time efficiently.
• A high level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
Bonus Points:
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Prior experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Familiarity with core HR processes such as Recruiting (e.g., SmartRecruiters), Onboarding (e.g., Click Boarding), and Learning Management (e.g., SuccessFactors).
