Job Title: Heavy Civil Estimator
Location: Johnson City, TN (Onsite | Minimal Local Travel)
Type: Full-Time | Salary | $90K/year + Profit Sharing

We are seeking an experienced **Heavy Civil Estimator** to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for large-scale civil construction projects. This role is primarily office-based and plays a critical part in winning and executing complex infrastructure work.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed estimates and quantity takeoffs for heavy civil projects including concrete, bridges, underground utilities, asphalt, grading, and site development
* Review and interpret plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports
* Prepare bid packages, pricing breakdowns, and proposals
* Coordinate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
* Support change order pricing and project cost control
* Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits

Qualifications:
* 5–7+ years of heavy civil estimating experience
* Proficiency with estimating software (HCSS HeavyBid, Bid2Win, or similar)
* Strong blueprint reading and analytical skills
