This is a 6 month temp to perm position.

As an IT Business Analyst, you will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for system enhancements, new applications, and software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into technical specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, business analysis methodologies, and excellent communication skills.


Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather requirements
Analyze and document current business processes and workflows
Develop detailed requirements documentation, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
Work closely with IT development teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and project scope
Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams
Perform feasibility analysis, impact analysis, and risk assessment for proposed solutions
Assist in testing and quality assurance efforts to validate delivered solutions meet requirements
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed systems
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business analysis and IT

Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role
Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and tools
Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and technical specifications
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus
Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
Familiarity with ERP systems, CRM systems, or other enterprise software solutions
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
