Our client is looking for a payroll pro who thrives in precision, compliance, and delivering an exceptional employee experience.

As their Sr. Payroll & Compensation Specialist, you’ll own the full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll process for a multi-state workforce, ensuring every detail, from new hire setup to final paycheck, is timely and fully compliant with all regulations.

In this role, you will:
• Oversee payroll operations from start to finish, including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Ensure payroll compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
• Prepare, review, and submit payroll adjustments such as overtime, garnishments, and tax updates.
• Maintain and audit payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and bank statements.
• Provide payroll reporting and analytics to HR leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and optimize payroll systems.

Qualifications:
• 7-10+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state processing for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Deep knowledge of payroll systems, reporting tools, and payroll tax requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
