Subcontracts Manager
Location: Poway, CA
Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
We are seeking an experienced Subcontracts Manager to lead the development and management of subcontract agreements for government and commercial contracts. The successful candidate will manage the entire subcontract process, including preparing bid packages, evaluating proposals, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and UCC.
Key responsibilities include providing guidance to internal teams and leadership, managing subcontract risks, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining adherence to company policies. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
11+ years of progressively responsible subcontract management experience
Deep knowledge of government and commercial contract regulations
Experience in aerospace or defense industries preferred
